The average school bus uses over 1,700 gallons of fuel annually; the average hybrid school bus uses around 600.

The IC Bus hybrid bus can improve fuel economy by up to 30% and reduce emissions by up to 40%.

This bus utilizes a single lithium-ion battery pack that is maintained within a narrow state of charge (SOC) range over the entire drive cycle.

Battery charge is maintained by on-board equipment.
